Tore Beal Gwartney, partner in the Boise law firm of Cosho Humphrey, LLP, practices law specializing in family law matters. Ms. Beal Gwartney is a graduate of Boise State University and the University of Idaho College of Law. She is an active lecturer for the Idaho State Bar and a member of the Idaho State Bar and the American Bar Association. She is a past Chair of the Family Law Section of the Bar and a member of the Alternative Dispute Section of the Bar. She currently serves on the Supreme Court forms committee as well as the Children and Families in the Court Committee. She is on the Board of Directors of the Idaho Governor’s Cup to raise money for Idaho students to attend college and trade schools. In addition, Ms. Beal Gwartney served on the Idaho Council on Domestic Violence and Victim Assistance.

Ms. Klein is engaged in the general practice of law specializing in family law and civil litigation. She has practiced in the area of family law for well over a decade. Since joining Cosho Humphrey, Ms. Klein has used her trial experience and skills in working with all types of people and circumstances to assist her clients.

Ms. Klein received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon. She then attended Oregon School of Law and received a Juris Doctor degree. After law school, she spent a year working at the National Collegiate Athletic Association's National Office. She served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney at Ada County for seven years and gained extensive court and jury trial experience at magistrate, juvenile and district court levels.

She has taught classes in family law for Continuing Legal Education, and she has taught classes to other lawyers training them to work at the Street Law Clinic program in Boise. Ms. Klein was also honored by the Idaho Business Review Leaders in Law program in 2014.

She is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Idaho, and state courts in Washington.

Joseph M. Meier is a partner and practices in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial, real property and business law with the Boise law firm of Cosho Humphrey, LLP. Mr. Meier has represented creditors, debtors, committees and trustees in proceedings under all chapters of the United States Bankruptcy Code. He also represents lenders and borrowers in complex loan restructures as well as in commercial litigation. Mr. Meier has frequently been asked to speak to attorneys, business and professional groups on bankruptcy and real property issues.

He is a member of the Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Section of the Idaho State Bar and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Meier is a past chair of the Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Section of the Idaho State Bar (1999-2000) and sat on the Governing Board of that Section from 1995 to 2001. Between 2003 and 2005 he served as a lawyer representative to the United States District Court for the District of Idaho and in July 2008 completed a three year additional term as the chairperson of the Lawyer Representative Coordinating Committee (L.R.C.C.) for the Ninth Circuit Conference of the United States Courts. The L.R.C.C. plans and participates in annual meetings of the chief district judges, bankruptcy judges and magistrate judges in the 15 districts of the Ninth Circuit scheduled to allow the bar to assist the judiciary in improving the administration of Justice. Joe Meier also served a three year term of the Conference Executive Committee of the Ninth Circuit that plans and implements the annual Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference attended by all Judges in the Circuit as well as lawyer representatives in all 15 districts.

Joe Meier is a fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy and has been recognized by his peers over the last several years by the following organizations: The Best Lawyers in America; Chambers, USA; Rocky Mountain States Super Lawyers; Madison's Who's Who of Executives and Professionals and Marquis Who's Who in America.
